Clear fees, capped and agreed in advance.
No surprises and nothing hidden. Where a fee applies, you’ll know the amount before any work starts — and you’ll never be charged above it.
Our fair-fee policy
We charge a transparent, capped fee for mortgage advice. The amount is agreed with you at the outset, explained in writing, and never exceeded. The exact figure reflects how complex your case is — a straightforward residential remortgage and a multi-company director purchase are not the same amount of work.
As a whole-of-market, directly authorised firm, our recommendation is driven by suitability, not by which lender pays most. Any procuration fee we receive from a lender on completion is disclosed to you and does not influence the advice.
- A fee agreed and capped before any work begins.
- A written illustration of what’s payable and when.
- Whole-of-market advice based on suitability, not commission.
- Full disclosure of any lender procuration fee.
Note for go-live: insert the firm’s specific fee amounts / ranges and the exact point of payment here, consistent with MortgageTek’s current client agreement and FCA disclosure requirements.

Fees, answered
Do you charge a fee for mortgage advice?+
We operate a fair-fee policy. Where a fee applies, it is agreed and capped in advance and explained in full before you commit — you will never be charged more than the amount agreed. The exact fee depends on the complexity of your case.
When is any fee payable?+
Typically on completion of your mortgage, not up front, though this is confirmed with you in writing at the outset. Your adviser sets out exactly what is payable and when before any work begins.
Do you also receive commission from lenders?+
Like most brokers, we may receive a procuration fee from the lender on completion. This is disclosed to you. It does not change the advice — as a whole-of-market firm we recommend the most suitable lender for your circumstances.
